Title: Herd of Elk in Pendelton OR
Post by: cornfed72 on February 27, 2011, 07:37:01 AM: From what I was told was these pictures were taken in the Blues outside pendelton oregon. The guy told me that there was approx 2000 head.

Hundreds of elk would file out of the Brushy fields working their way up and into the timber every morning! Sitting in ambush on one of those trails watching huge herds approaching single file right towards you was the definition of buck fever for me! Should I mention it was ANY ELK for archers back then!!! And, there were LOTS of elk!
