I have never seen something like this. A buddy of mine told me about it this morning so I don't know too much but looks pretty cool. It is a barrel conversion for your Ruger 10/22 to shoot arrows out of it with .22 blanks. I can't believe that it can produce up to 435 fps muzzle velocity from a .22 blank. I wonder if this could be made legal for disabled hunters who have a hard time with a bow or crossbow? I would love to hear if anyone has some experience with these.

Well the IT filter here at work blocked it, so its gotta be good!!

Looks pretty cool but I don't think it will ever details legal to hunt with in this state.

Might be fun to try. I would think it might be a bit hard on the fletchings though...

Sounds real similar to dropping a section of m-16 cleaning rod down the barrel of one with blanks in it ;)

A poachers special. One of the guys in my dad's deer hunting gang back in WI used to shoot arrows out of a .410 with the bb's removed from the shell. It was pretty lethal.

Interesting that they use target points rather than broadheads. I guess a bhead would fit down the barrel?

There has been a version or two of that out for some time now. Adam, Titan's camera man has had one for some time now. maybe a year... we shot it and it was pretty accurate.

I have seen it and done it with a .410 shot gun, using a shell with no shot just the powder charge. must be a skinny arrow to fit ina 22.

The arrow would be too short per archery equipment regs and too light per crossbow regs, added weight and they would get slower, the info is old as modern bows with longer arrows are over 300fps and crossbows are at 350fps.

It isn't a .22 barrel Carl. it is a larger diameter, big enough for fletching to fit in.

Well my buddy just picked one up. Traded a pistol for it. I will get a report up soon on how it shoots. He lives in Olympia and I'm trying to find time to get down there. I'm interested in shooting it.

the new archery product for the future :chuckle:

so does it fall under the rifle regulations or the archery regulations.
-
Why would they shoot it at the side of a building? I have never shot one but have seen them online and at gun shows.

Seems kinda cool, but I fail to see any use for them what-so-ever?
