can anyone answer this question? i know it will shoot the 45 LONG colt. but what about regular 45 colt?

I don't think so. Call your nearest gunshop or look in your manual to be sure.

Yes you can shoot .45 colt also.

There's no such thing as 45 LONG colt, some call it that but it is really just 45 colt.

That is true. There never was a cartridge called the 45 long colt. People started calling it the 45 long colt after the 45 Smith & Wesson Schofield came along. The 45 Smith & Wesson could be shot in the 45 colt but the 45 colt could not be shot in the Smith and Wesson because it was to LONG. There is were the long in long colt came from.

I shoot the .45's out of mine...thought they were .45 L.C. :chuckle:
