I have a 8mm mauser that I am rebuilding. Whadda you think about a fixed power scope? They seem hard to find, but light wt and reasonable in price.
I plan on keeping the weight down on the rig.

not at all I use a fixed 4power and love it

Sightron has some good fixed power scopes.
