This is the best of 3 from today, a storm blew in and cut the trip short. Not before I stumbled across this bad boy. Stuck in the dirt it stood straight up, hard to miss :IBCOOL:
-
Thats a nice horn. I endured hailstorms long enough today to find one nice 3 point.
-
atleast you got a good one.
-
Very nice
-
nice heavy shed!
-
Thanks again for the pick stud I am going to cut work short tomorrow so I can get out for a while with my little guy who gets out of school at noon tomorrow. Nice horn. ;)
-
Great shed man, now you just need to quit for the year so I can stay up on you!!
-
Well we know that wasn't taken up the Chiwawa
-
Well we know that wasn't taken up the Chiwawa
I think it was found on Mt. Hinneman :dunno:

You say that like you have a clue on what happens over here, you don't. Do you ever hunt for anything besides threads to drop smart a$$ coments on. I bet your one of those guys I passed on the trail that wore a helmet on your trip to Mt Hinneman, Do you even know where Mt Hinneman is? Or did you see a picture on someone else's thread? I think I speak for several members here at least, think before you type. This has been coming for a while. My name is not Jake, so there will be no need for anymore PM's. This will be my first and last negative post.
-
Nice looking antler! How big of buck do you think he would have been if he had a matching side? Keep of the good work, awesome to see you are taking your kid out.

Been on here a while and noticed the same thing. Nice white shed ....where ever you found it.
-
My comment to it not being up the Chiwawa was that when the deer are shedding there is a ton of snow up the Chiwawa river road. Thats all the post was saying not that I know where all the sheds are located or etc. Shed you probably are the guy that went flying by me when I was climbing up Hineman with my helmet but atleast I was safe.
-
:yeah:
Not gonna lie, I was thinking the same thing. Ususally snow still up there all over the place
-
Nice shed by the way!!

You guys both keep thinking that, what you dont know will hill us! There is alot more to chiwawa than a simple river road. Not being rude, just stating that I prabably have over 100 sheds from the chiwawa. You would be amaized on south facing slopes way back in that unit! :)
-
Well I was being modest  I cant disprove your facts although Id love to see your 100+ shed pile
-
You are right about the Chiwawa GMU but I was saying up the Chiwawa. Nice shed too by the way.

maybe you didnt mean anything "smart ass" by your comment, but when you consistantly offend people (intentional or not) folks become a little hyper-defensive to your posts. Seems to me that you are aweful quick to judge people and what they post on here. You come across like a know-it-all, yet I can't remember a single post from you that made me think you spend any time in the woods at all.

Smartass.....yes, quick to judge...maybe, not spending anytime in the woods...I don't know about that.
-
Well I am indded sorry if some people are offended. As we all know there are many ways things can be interpeted by just typed word. You might mean then to say one way but others read them a different way. You probably right I may just think I know more than I really do. You are entitled to your opinion.
-
offended? :chuckle: I've got thick skin. Really doesn't bother me any. And I know I think I know more then what I really know. :chuckle:
-
Well then we agree as I probably think I know more than I do and the stuff I really know anything about doesn't do me a bit of good or help me what so ever!! :chuckle: :chuckle:
-
Enough. I can clean this thread up if you guys want. If you want to keep this pissing match going, take it to private messaging. That's what it's for.

Now we Know skyvalhunter knows nothing, Jacks fingernails are clean..

Sorry guys, Skyval is right. Deer dont shed where there is snow. Too cold on their feet. Everyone take note. Shed lesson number #1- dont shed hunt in units that have snow. :chuckle:
-
 Backyard? Nice!! I have a shed from ********* Mtn from a few years ago and Ill post it once I go to where its kept, damn thing is as big around as my wrist.

Thats why I tell everyone they winter down in the SW States,,not here. I actually had a buddy of mine believing me for quite awhile
-
:chuckle: I did head up the Chiwawa River road(clarification)around the 20th of Nov to waist deep snow and there were still a few tracks around but those were heading down. But heck it could have melted and they went back up or was I just dreaming this? :chuckle: :chuckle:

Probably best if everyone thinks that the snow was waist deep in the hills and all the deer were at Walmart Wintering until last week. :chuckle: Shed rule #2- No horns above 1000 feet.
It must be hard for Whitehall to ride his sled around and pick up 100 sheds a week down where there is no snow.
-
:chuckle: :chuckle: Slinger, I too read the shed rule book. Shed rule #3-Never get out of the truck. This is a very important one as most of my sheds come from under a 1000 ft from the comfy cab of my ol' ford.
Q-Why are there so many sportsman at wallmart with binos?
A-Slinger gave up my honey hole. Thanks >:(

Sorry thought everyone knew by now. Guess I will have to try behind the mall in East Wenatchee now.
Shed rule #4- Never look around where you saw bucks packing in January. They run 10 miles and then shed and come back. I have seen it time and time again.

Shed rule #5- If your looking for sheds in the mall parking lot you'd better be tailgaiting :brew:
-
And not the type of tailgating where you are looking to get the sheds out of the back of Shed Studs truck. :chuckle: :chuckle:
