Post by: carpsniperg2 on March 18, 2011, 02:48:10 PM: Hey guy/gals. Figured I would share some info on a new bow for the bow fishing world. Since that is what I do best :chuckle:
This is the new 2011 Alipne Mako. Here are the details on the new bow. It is a well balanced bow, light weight and has a ton of adjustment. I am thinking these might be the new bow that I set my clients up with this year. I have been looking around for some new bows, and I really like these bows a lot. If you guys are thinking about upgrading or getting into bowfishing. Check these new Mako's out.

* Mass weight: 3 pounds.
* Axle to Axle: 30.75 inches.
* Brace height: 6.5 inches.
* Draw weights:40, 50, 60 pounds.
* Cam: Radial Force C
* Draw lengths: 24”-30"
* Limbs: Bi-Flex composite limb, Blue, and waterdrops
* Cable Guard Straight mounted carbon.
* Sight window 8.25” single plane window with Ruckus medalion.
* Pocket: LX Pocket Mounting System.
* Riser Color: Blue, and waterdrops
* Grip: 2 piece rose wood.
* Let-off: 65%

MtnMuely they are set to sell at around the 300 price range. Alpine has them on there site for 315.00 right now. :IBCOOL:

They offer both left and right handed models as well. For those of you that are backwards :chuckle:

A few of the shops are going to be stocking them, and they might be a little lower. The nice thing with the bowfishing bows is that most can be snap shot like a recurve, they are light weight and designed for the kind of shooting that you will have in bowfishing conditions.
