Sweet mount!  Do you glue the skull to the plaque?   :dunno:

Very nice that plaque really accents the horns and skull. That reminds me of a buck I got in Montana that was rubbing alot on pine trees.

Thanks every one. I wish I could get the pics to come out but I was able to keep all the bark on the horns wick the customer really wanted

The plaque is made out of pine.

No I don't use glue a use 2 3" screws.

You do a great job.  I have done a couple European mounts, and I have never been able to attach the skull to the plaque without making it look stupid.

Cool!  I see how you attached it now- thanks.  By the way, did you make that plaque?  I was wondering how it got the almost burnt look to it?

Ya I have a guy here in town make them for me he does a really nice job. We are trying to perfect some turkey fan plaques rite now.
