We've added about 24 more since this photo, but only one really cool one so really you're not missing much. :chuckle:
Here's some of the fresh ones with sets in the middle (awesomely unique set in the middle right!)
(https://hunting-washington.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi42.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fe323%2Fhirshey27%2FDSC05133.jpg&hash=0133397827ed82ef0b6c6f4a27d30a41739ea40c)
One of our really nice whitetails...

Some of the whites:

Big 4, little 4..

Another of the little 4...
(https://hunting-washington.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi42.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fe323%2Fhirshey27%2FDSC05147.jpg&hash=83563310bad2c348fbd25884e8f59d2b74071ca9)
More of the browns:

One of my mother's awesome sheds:
(https://hunting-washington.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi42.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fe323%2Fhirshey27%2FDSC05152.jpg&hash=73dcbedd98d8de82b40f36c0984c49f9ff6e0285)

And at least one atl (since it isn't pictured in that group)
(https://hunting-washington.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi42.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fe323%2Fhirshey27%2FDSC05171.jpg&hash=5e6b523754ddedbdaac7a09bd480234c3343f475)
And I've already seen a bear and a ton of grouse (didn't get a photo of the bear because it surprised me in a thick draw at about 30 yards)
(https://hunting-washington.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi42.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fe323%2Fhirshey27%2FDSC05176.jpg&hash=2e3e88c0f6769e841254931f3473de787cc3bc34)

At some point we'd like to... its hard to find a horn cool enough to drill but that you aren't so attached to that if you ruined it (because I'm sure its a steep learning curve) you wouldn't be too heartbroken over.
-
nice sheds hirshey congrats
-
Very nice :IBCOOL:
-
Wow great finds, looks like you found the spot.

Yeah! How'd you do?? I don't have internet at my new place so didn't get your message... so I shed hunted behind my new house. Spotted two from my bedroom window! :IBCOOL: Ended up with 3 for the day... match set 2 and a nice little 3.I didn't hit it too hard because I needed to unload some stuff from our trailer to make the place more like "home".
Gotta love a place where you can find sheds from your house! :chuckle:
-
That's an awesome picture with all the loaded packs. Great job! Looks like a fun day with friends.
-
great collection. You have a great choice in beer. :brew:
-
Your stash is looking better than mine!
-
I wouldn't mind a few of those! Pretty good year, congrats
-
Thanks! Our group of folks ended up with 40+ the last three days... photos to follow. 15 are mine. :) One with the base as big as a beer can's diameter and the eyeguard as tall as a can! A matched set 4 and some other nice ones.
-
What are you waiting for!? We need pics!
-
Pics? :dunno:
-
dam...now i realize what the beauty of shed hunting is all about....they drop antlers AS WELL AS BEER :brew: SWEET...sign me up !

Hey i met you the other night at poker....Have you had any luck since??
Yeah, nothing huge, but I've added 8 more to the pile. :) Only one today... got snowed out!
-
BEER CAN SHED! BEER CAN SHED!
I don't have internet at my house yet so it takes sitting outside the library to post... I'll get the photo WITH the beer can loaded soon... I got all the way down here and found out its not loaded on my computer! :( But here's an as it layed photo, group of horns from me, the beau and a pal of ours, and on my kitchen table. Would have LOVED to see this buck a few years ago... it has a lot of traits of an old regressing buck. BEAUTIFUL color though; a timber buck for sure! There's pitch stuck all over the antler. :)

Sorry there's nothing there for reference... but like I said I'll get those photos uploaded sometime this next week I'm sure.
Oh! And I forgot... I also saw a "large coyote" that same day. We have video of it howling and barking at us through the spotting scope. Only one.

It certainly isn't. And while tempting, we didn't. We were already post-holing to our upper thighs and he was about 800 yards up the hill from us. Actually we didn't even have a gun with us that day.
-
One extra large yote coming up :bfg: That one shed has some serious mass
-
Here's a few more photos...
The nice set was one my friend from the west side found walking out with me after a good long day. Added the exclaimation point for sure!

Nice ATL pics Hirshey! Way to stack em up!
-
your my new idol :chuckle: That pic looks like a "coyote" I got this year up in AK :chuckle: he sold for just over $500 :chuckle:
-

:chuckle: that's a fair price! most coyotes went for around $35 this year. :)
In all honesty I don't know what a wolf pelt goes for but $500 seems decent... although bobcats were around $800 for a nice one this year! :yike:

Most bobcat I saw went around $95 with highs around $300 but a over the top one with a purpose specific buyer could get that. Lynx in Ak are going for around $150-300 but there was one sold at auction this year for $1500 :o Wolves go for around $400-700 Wolverine around $400-900! All in all I spend more on fuel than I ever will recover trapping, its just fun :chuckle:
cool job with the sheds, makes me miss WA!
-
Very cool. :) My father's best cat went for $700 this year and his friends topped over $800; it was definitely not a usual year.
Sounds like you have plenty of wild things to play with up there.. I wouldn't miss it down here to badly! :)
