I bet you would have. :chuckle: With a general tag, I wouldn't have raised my binos either, I just would have shot him. He looks pretty good, but with a special permit, I'd like to think I would let him walk. Can't really say for sure until I was put in the situation. Several things could come into play during even a permit hunt. How has the hunting been? How many and how big of bulls have you been seeing? How is the weather? How much time do you have to hunt? Just couldn't say for sure.

But if you didn't kill it you probably won't get another chance.... On public ground that is...... It's not like our permit seasons are all that great..... Some years yes......... You know the rest..... Off my soap box...... :chuckle: I can 99.9% garantee you I would've shot it halfway threw the "permit" season and would've been lucky to get him during an open anybull general or late hunt.... Most our "permit bulls" are during a genral season anyhow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
