Went scouting with gasman, here are Some pics, saw lots of birds but the snow? :dunno:

So all in all were you worried about opening day weather, or are you gonna say hell with the snow and hunt them birds anyway.
-
We are going regardless. Birds are there and hopefully the snow will have melted somewhat.
Some areas had 2' of snow, we did wake up to snow falling Sun morn though

This is what I've been thinking it might look like. >:( Hopefully the weather will warm up some over the next 2 weeks and melt some snow and get the birds hot n heavy.
I'll be going regardless of weather too. My brother is coming in from out of state for the opener and I've never been to the NE corner. Had planned to go over this weekend to scout, but from all I hear the birds are still flocked up in winter mode.

I was up near there this weeked as well, and a couple hundred feet elevation made a huge difference in the type of moisture I was seeing. The birds will keep working their way up. I think we will be good to go by the 15, now maybe not so much for youth? Again it all depends on elevation.

I would wait until June..then there won't be any snow on the ground. :chuckle:

The first Tom I killed in Washington was at about 3200ft in elevation and strutting on a 4ft snow bank!
