The fields were full of swans last week and then the big wind and rain storm hit and they must have caught the assisted ride north. They all up and migrated in the last few days to the north.
-
They nest mostly in Alaska don't they? The snow geese will probably be next.
-
About a thousand yesterday near Farm to Field Road or whatever that is by the Skagit Transfer Station.

where are the majority of the snows right now? I drove to vancouver last thursday up I5, and then back down on Friday and didn't see a single snow. I have been seeing Specs tho.

I saw them again today. Near Farm to Market Rd. The ones that were hanging along I-5 moved on.

I saw swans in the valley over the weekend, but seems like less than a few weeks ago

For the past three days at least there have been about a hundred hanging out just south of the church on Fir Island.

The swans always leave a couple weeks before the snows. The snows should all be gone by the 22nd.

Shocked to see a couple hundered snows still here. Last week the blue was still with them.

I don't know about the swans nut I saw my first cinnamon teal last Saturday on the golf course.
