Just read the stats for last spring :dunno: 1 unit no hunters, 2 only 1 hunter, CF had 50 permits, 49 reported, 18 hunter, 4 bear killed :dunno: what's up with that :dunno:
Spring '07' - 456 reports returned - 199 hunted - 61 bears killed (hope I did math right)
My stats - 4 years out of last 5 (counting '08'), countless road trips - countless hours hunting - 3 black bear seen - hundreds of gummy bear sightings :chuckle:

My thoughts on this are that most say they didn't hunt when they don't harvest an animal. Answer one question "Did you hunt?" and your report is done. But yes, there are lots of folks that don't hunt or hunt much on a permit.

I just hope our State doesn't take these silly ass-ed reports with any seriousness. It would be a good idea if the information gathered was true and accurate. If policy is determined by these stat's we are screwed.

I agree there !!
I wished the hunters in this state would be more accurate in their reporting, not that I want anything regulated even more but at least the results would be more accurate !!
