Post by: bankwalker on May 25, 2008, 07:36:35 PM: katera is a nice shooting bow. i shot one last night at the range. it had a 30" draw though so it didnt fit me to well. i would asume the XL shoots the same its only a little bit longer axle to axle isnt it?

OUt of all I have shot, by far my favorite and I will own one someday! Bought the Bengal instead, and so far it has been great.

Its last years model but is basically the same bow as the Katera. I think the only difference's are 4 ounces lighter and a new set of cams that give the Katera an extra 5 fps...

Post by: DeKuma on May 26, 2008, 07:16:39 AM: Looked for a Vulcan in 28 DL for a while. Ebay had a couple, but the price got up there. Since I was selling my older Hoyt as a RTS package to a buddy, I needed to buy all new equipment and by the time I added the costs up, even buying a Vulcan, I was over my "allowance" from the boss lady. Got the Bengal for a little over $600 complete RTS. It will work for now. Still watching for a good deal on a Katera or Vulcan that I can sneak in without her catching me first.

Better to seek forgiveness than to ask permission...........
