Found another one that I am glued to. Taxidermy in Alaska, Taxidermy USA and Swamp People.
Anyone had a chance to watch these?
The Alaska one had a good one fixing up a Polar bear and replacing the snout with that of a brown bear and bleaching it. Not perfect but way better than it was. A $2,400.00 restoration.

Swamp People and Mounted in Alaska are really great shows.
Taxidermy USA is one of the worst shows I have ever seen. Full of misinformation and unrealistic time frames for mount completions. I mean seriously, 3 days to mount and complete a Life Size Griz? :bash:

I swear it took them about 30 minutes on the show without commercials. :chuckle: Definately interesting stuff. You have the true trophy guys up north and a few that mount anything that moves in the south. Do you think the guys in the south save the meat for family dinners? :chuckle:

Now come on Michele I heard you can do one in a day and that includes wrestling with it on the floor :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:
