BUSHNELL SENTRY 5.0MP w/NIGHT VISION TRAIL CAMERA
If you only knew what happened in the woods after you left for the night you would be amazed. Strap the Bushnell Sentry Trail camera to a tree and see what you have been missing. With one of the quickest trigger times on the market, it is capable of snapping a picture of an animal on the move. With an extra-long battery life you will not need to worry about batteries dying as soon as others. It is very easy to use and is offered in standard/adjustable 3-5 megapixels setting. You can set it to capture either still photos or short video clips during day or night. Images are saved on an SD card (not included - 1GB max). A small infrared sensor triggers the sensor to take quick pictures. Bushnell has honed the technology and shaved the price to make the ultimate season attainable for virtually anyone. If they're anything similar to the Bushnell Trophy Cams in terms of quality you'll be happy! Only thing that turns me off about this camera, or I'd be buying one myself, is the damn D-cell batteries.
-
I here ya, But at 72% off I couldn't pass it up. Heck it's cheaper then my Moultrie d-40's which I'm really happy with.
-
Oh yeah, can't imagine you'll be disappointed. Can never have too many cameras either.
-
Yeah there's no such ting as too many cameras. :chuckle: :chuckle:

I must be too late?? Nice score!!

Natchez Shooters has them for $89.95. Not quite as good a deal, but still good. Bushy must be going to upgrade the model.

trail cameras in general seem to get the most mixed reviews of any hunting gear. :chuckle: It's not a good enough deal for me to be spontanious but if it was for the price that yoter hunter got his for i would snag up one or two.

The moultrie D40's and D50's are a lot better and you can get them for about that price. They have a lot more features and are easier to use. :twocents:

last time i was in the market i picked up a d40. it was working alright till the flash gave out. I wanted to try IR this time, what else do you suggest in the price range.
-
I bought one last time they were on sale at camofire, and the next day went to sportmans wherehouse (whatever it's called) in federal way and say the same camera for 114.00. Camo fire ups the retail price a bit I think.

I have one. I bought rechargable batteries and a solar panel. Mine works fine.
-
how much did the solar panel upgrade run you? how much light does it need to keep the batteries going?

I think it was maybe $50. I just googled and looked until I found it cheap. I used it last winter with the panel pretty much directly in the sun with no problems. My batteries are the 5000 mAH. The batteries hold a charge because of the storage capacity. I got them at Radio Shack. Not a lot of choices for shopping here.
Just checked for you. Amazon has the solar panels for $43.21 with free shipping.

I did a quick Froogle/Google and it looks like there's a few e-merchants out there that beat the price. At least one, however, was a refurb. Caveat emptor as always.
