Title: White salmon gobbler
Post by: coastalghost on April 16, 2011, 10:35:54 AM: Cold wet but got er done opening morning. Never seen this much snow. The day before was a white out with drifts of snow 3 ft...then it rained..nice 35 degree rain it was miserable. Decent bird with a 8 inch beard.

Post by: carpsniperg2 on April 16, 2011, 03:20:54 PM: Congrats it was nasty day. I spent 9hrs and it rained every second of those 9 hrs. I only saw 5 hens. First time in 4 years I have not killed atleast one bird on opening day. It was tuff hunting for sure!
