:IBCOOL: Just had to share :IBCOOL: I posted pic's of her a little bit ago "when she was bare". Just got everything all finished up. 340wby made by magnum research/sako action/muzzle break/ hs precision stock/ Tuned the trigger down to 2.5lbs/ Mk 4 steel rings/ Custom built Leupold 8.5-25x50 lrt vx3 with Leupold dot by my friends at Leupold! Then I have to thank Kain for the decals! He really helped me bring her to life! This in the first introduction of the Black Widow :IBCOOL: You will see her more then a few times on here in the future. :IBCOOL:

I could not wait until this scope came I put a different scope on it because I had to shoot it! Lol it came with a box of weatherby 250g spire points and it shot a 3/4" group with them at 100 and 1.75" at 200 with factory toads so its already shooting great and recoil is very mild for that big of cal. Got some 200g accubonds loaded that should really drive tacks when I find its sweet spot.

nice

I would be afraid to get it dirty :chuckle: :chuckle:

That is is awesome set up!
What kind of barrel do you have on there? at what length?
-
Not sure on the brand of the barrel, it is custom built for these rifles for magnum research. Here is what the net says on it.
Match-grade, hand-lapped, cut-rifled barrel for optimum bullet stabilization.
Custom-contoured and crowned to significantly reduce vibration and enhance accuracy.
Manufactured to exacting "Bench Rest" quality tandards.
.004" head space tolerance.
The barrel is 24" without the break a little over 26" with the break.
-
interesting.. maybe they make their own barrel?
Would be interesting to see what kind of barrel they buy if outsourced.. i.e. Hart, Douglas, Krieger..etc..
-
Yeah it would be. They don't make them anymore they have switched from sako actions to remington :puke: lol just kidding 8)
-
Well, Regardles...
Looks like a VERY nice rifle. Love the personal touches on it. Be sure to post up the first beast you slay with it :)

The puke! :chuckle: I think I have 7 remingtons if I remember right. Getting hard to keep track 8) But I do like the sako actions way better.
-
I'm happy you got the sako action then.
I'm less interested now that they are changing to remington...
-
Yep seems like a lot of the companies that are making "more custom guns" are using the remington action :puke: :chuckle: Like christensen arms. I was going to buy one of there rifles but they want 700.00 more to upgrade to the sako action :bdid:
-
I cant wait to get back and take some welding, machining, and gunsmithing classes.
I'm thinking sako 75 action
-
AMEN! arn't you supposed to be bringing me a blaser back ;)
-
I asked my supplier and he was going to wait to price any new guns out until after EWA. EWA Came, and I deployed. sorry. I'll get on it when i can.
