Title: new truck
Post by: Craig on May 28, 2008, 12:01:47 PM: It was time for a new truck. Traded in the ford and got a new Dodge.

Not sure I can handle that large of a cab on the Dodge. The room would be great though. Mine is the regular quad cab, and it sucks for people in the backseat.

Post by: GoldTip on May 28, 2008, 12:25:06 PM: Great looking truck, congrats on the new wheels. I too have the standard size quad cab 05 diesel. I like the mega cab, but couldn't handle having a short bed truck. So I looked at it this way, heck, I don't ride in the back seat........ :IBCOOL:

Post by: kirkl on May 28, 2008, 04:24:22 PM: cause they dont make garages for trucks anymore, you have to have a full size extended cab shortbed to fit in garages now a days. And they barely fit. You hit the nail on the head, there two "car" garages, not car+truck garages.

Post by: BC CHASER on May 28, 2008, 06:20:02 PM: Every man needs a 30'x90' shop. I have an 08 F-350 and have a fairly decent size garage and it still wont fit. Right now it is 22' from bumper to bumper. Im going to put a Road Armor bumper on the front and the back. The rear one will have the tire carrier on it. So from 22' to about 26', this is why every man needs a shop. Dont forget about all the toys as well!

Here is my best sage brush buff along with two flat tires. Good reason to get a lift and bigger tires.

I went with the Hemi over the cummins because I don't really have anything to pull. The cost of the cummins plus the fuel vs the Hemi plus the gas was not worth it to me. I only have a couple quads to pull around.
