Just wandering if any of you guestimators would get me a close score on these hogs? Finally got them scored!! Looks to be a 320 Bull when giving the set a conservitive spread measurement.. Thanks for all the help Ric.. And thanks to all for the complements.

355 2/8 and put my horns back where you found them :chuckle: :chuckle:
-
Where'd you find those at dude? :dunno:
-
Found them in the woods.. I am not worth a darn @ using these score charts yet. Have to get someone who knows what there doing to show me where to measure the points and such.. I can tell you that the mass is 8in. in the smallest spot between all the points until the measurement between the 4th and 5th is a little over 6in. I was just stoked to finally get my hands on some elk sheds this yr. Everybody else has been killing it and I have been killing my boots..

-
Dandy set. I can put a score on them if you want to bring them down .
-
Now I just have to get them colored back up. Any recommendations to adding color to horns? There not weather checked just lightened up a little from one season. I appreciate the offer Bucklucky, if I'm in the area I'll pack'em w/ me..
-
Best way I have found is using watered down oil paints. Raw umber seems to be the best for elk horns. But there is a method behind the madness :chuckle: Thse antlers would color up pretty easily . Just have to do trial runs , start light and add layers, wipe off any spots that need highlighted. If you dont like what your seeing wash it off. I use the water mixable oil paints by the way.
