Title: Turkey Surprise
Post by: flinger on April 25, 2011, 04:40:22 PM: Well Carnivore and Myself spent the weekend looking for them dam gobblers could not put lead to head. had mentioned to each other that with all the deer we were seeing it's kinda crazy that we hadn't found any sheds, But headed out sun afternoon and found this guy,Curious what some of you guys think he might have scored .My guess is he died of old age so i would think he was probably a little bigger in his prime
so what do ya think Basicly if ya look at the 2nd pic. the tallest tines are basically 17 1/2 inches point to point

I didn't know until I read this thread. Grrrr......Thanks dudes. >:( I guess I don't need to worry about how I was going to get a whole bunch of elk racks/skulls home now.

Wow that news to me. Where can one find that law. Guess it makes sence since it is not a shed.

Personally, I would call local WDFW, and tell them of your find and show them pics and tell them the whereabouts, and let them you know you'd like to have it. Not enough mass for an old buck but nice buck no matter what!
