Title: Hunting Near Ellensburg
Post by: CWUhunter9 on April 25, 2011, 10:46:14 PM: Hey guys I'm new to the forum, but I'm a big upland/waterfowl hunter. This year is my first time turkey hunting so it's something new to me. I'm a student at Central Washington University and also play on the football team so I've only been able to go out the last couple weekends, and have only heard a few gobbles that unfortunately came from private property. I've been out off Reecer, up to Liberty, off both Cooke Canyon and Wilson Creek Roads, but I was just wondering if anyone had any advice or could help me out with some spots around the Ellensburg area.

Post by: Slamadoo on April 25, 2011, 10:57:40 PM: I graduated from there a couple years ago. Sounds like your hitting up all the right spots. Always had more luck/saw more turkey's in reecer creek and liberty areas than in cooke or coleman.

haha phishis i like the idea, we've thought about it but just haven't quite gotten around to it yet
