Title: Last day, May 31

Post by: 10Key on June 02, 2008, 07:59:43 AM: I hit up the Teanaway and hunted Saturday morning. I hiked close to 10 miles without a sight or sound from a turkey. In total, I hunted 4 weekends this year to no avail, which is the most effort I have put in for a turkey. What did I learn this year? One must hunt where the turkeys are, in order to harvest one.

We managed to shoot one this year in the Teanaway. Finding them is the hard part. We were planning on going Sat. but had too much crap going on and decided to bag it. At least being out in the woods beats sitting home with a honey do list :chuckle:
