Title: Fishing Lake Sixteen
Post by: TradMan on May 03, 2011, 10:06:29 PM
2 days, 3 hits, no fish. Not a whole lot of experience Trout fishing, just wondering if anyone has any suggestions to help me out?  Fishing from a float tube, tried dick nites, worms, powerbait, and needlefish.

I have hit Lake 16 every year for the opener the last ten years. On average we all catch our limits within two hours. This year fished it for 3 hours and only caught one fish. Didn't really see anyone else catching either..

I've been trout fishing early in the mornings, not at lake sixteen but further West and over here there biting spinners and weighted down powerbait with a bobber. So far the best I've got this year is 4 in 25 min.
