Fishing on Eastern Bank with my buddy. We stuck this one this morning. Was planning on being out for another day or two but baby girl is sick at home and momma needs support. So, here I am. Stinky and still swaying from two days on the boat. This one at a herring/hoochie combo, went about 35 lbs.

Very nice!

So when is the fishnchip get together? :cue:
-
Mmmmm, my mouth is watering.

You will be eating well, nice fish, that is the perfect size for the grill. Any bigger and you end up have to fillet the fillets, LOL.

Should be having fish and chips tonight. Maybe I'll post up a pic of a golden deep fried nugget of goodness.
-
Thanks for all the offers to share in the fish and chips. Got me thinking this morning as I was vac packing meat. I'd be willing to exchange a couple chunks for a pkg or two of elk steaks if anyone is interested. I'm in Lake Stevens so Buckmark, D-Rock, Skillet......whoever is close by and has some surplus let me know!

How about prime, home raise beef?
-
Very nice fish!
-
Hmm, home raised prime beef. I've been eating a lot more venison than beef but if you are in the area I could probably part with a nice cut in exchange for a steak or two. You know, in the name of sharing and all.
-
I would be all over that! If I was close  Got som e tender yearling steaks you can cut with a fork :chuckle:

Goldeneye is going to take me up. Sorry folks but not to burst a bubble but with a local on the "line" I'm going to call it good with one person swapping. Thanks.
