Anyone have an educated opinion or first hand experience on this bow? I really like PSE and have heard good things about the Bow Madness but would like any opinions you might have. I liked the way it felt shooting it but I have been using a XI Intrepid for 15 years and this would be my first small bow. It is tiny. :chuckle:

I have the XS. 28.5 ata if I remember right. I love it. More quiet than you would think, and a sweet shooter for such a short bow. I have no regrets. One of the best things if you are a hunter, it is SO easy to manuever around in the woods. The price is not bad either. :twocents:

Its a great bow you cant realy compair your old bow to the new ones because they are 1000 times better than the old bows you will love the bow madness

Very very nice bow! I think they are a great bow for the money and very good shooting and smooth! The bow that I like a little better is the axe. FAST SMOOTH AND OVERALL A GREAT BOW! You might check them out as well but you can't go wrong with any pse :IBCOOL:

I have one and it is sweet.... :IBCOOL:

Great bow for the money IMO. Just put a good string on it. Both my brothers shoot them and they love the short axle to axle wether they are in tree stands or in ground blinds.

Thanks guys. I ordered it from BPS but they seem to be trying to do a bait and switch on me. I bought the bow package and only the bare bow showed up. They sent me a return slip and after I mailed it back they changed my order history to say "bow only" and change the website to say "bow only". I printed out my order but I dont what good that will do. Seems they had the bow package with the bow only price by mistake. Waiting for the customer service rep to get back to me. I can understand if it is a mistake on the price but changing my order history online so that it does not match what I printed off really ticks me off.

Hope it works out for you. It will make you a great bow :IBCOOL:

When I bought mine it was a "kit". If I were to do it over and the price wasn't too bad, I would add my own components. The ones that came with it weren't that great. I will add as well, with such short bow I felt that a bow quiver added too much weight. So I use a hip quiver.

Thanks. I thought of that also but I thought the price with the package was really good and was factory tuned so I get to shooting right away. Then replace components as I get the funds. It turns out the package price was too good as it sounds like it was a mistake. Was the weight of the quiver changing how its shot or just heaver than you liked. This bow is still many pounds lighter than my current bow so Im not to concerned with just weight alone.

I would check out archerytalk.com. I saw a few bow madness bows on there for $400-450

I bought the package last fall for my first season of archery. After a couple of missed bucks (buck fever) I took a doe, and she didn't go more than 20 yards. I really enjoy shooting it. I'm certainly no expert, but I seem to keep my groups tight. I will take it to the shop this year and have it tuned, and I plan on swapping out some of the pacakage components (rest, sight). All in all the XS was a good package at a really fair price.

Quite honestly I attached the quiver, didn't like the feel, and immediately took it off. I prefer a hip quiver to bow mounted. So my opinion is not based on how it shot or any performance issues, just preference. It is a very light bow, I just didn't want to add more weight to it.

Good news. Bass Pro Shop is honoring the bow package at the bow only price. Said it was their advertising error and that they would mail it out today. So Im getting the Bowmadness XS RTS for $499.99. Cant wait until it gets here. Thanks for all the help guys.

I think you will love it, especially while hunting.

So far I am really happy with this bow. Lowered it to 60 lbs to work on some form issues I have and its sweet to shoot. Sooooo tiny it feels like a toy.

 Great bow  knew you would like it :IBCOOL:

Hundreds and hundred of arrows working out some bad habits on my form. Got the bow back up to 70lbs and can draw smoothly. This bow is a dream to shoot.
