ya know i got about a bazillion damn rabbits runnin around my place, are they worth eatn, of course i would have to whack them with the 22 when the daughter wasnt lookn or else she would hate me forever

My grandma used to make a rabbit stew that was amazing.  I have to get the recipe for her and convince my wife that they are worth eating.  Not a ton of meat but Mmmmmmm.

not the best quality, but its what i got. Wild bunnies and they were running straight for me, they got three feet from me.

They are all around you just have to be quiet or in my case lucky. This one ran out from under my truck and stopped in front of me.

Here is a couple from up in Alaska. Not sure what kind this is? Last night I did see a snowshoe run across the road in front of me- those things are HUGE! My first thought was that it was some kind of dog... Anyway, whatever this is, it is pretty small.

Here is from 2 days ago here in NZ. cz 17hmr suppresed :drool: These were just the ones close enough to get :chuckle: A lot more fell that night :chuckle:

This was grouse hunting last september before I had ever considered hunting rabbits and before I knew what the season was. Snowshoe up near Redtop:

Iraqy Jackrabbit killed last summer.  Dont have a pellet gun this year due to changed on base.  Took a few shots with spearhead blowgun dart and missed.
