Title: Future Bear and Lion dog
Post by: Machias on May 18, 2011, 10:14:24 PM: Drove down to Northern CA and back this weekend and picked up a new Leopard Cur pup. Meet Machias River Rogue. Rogue is a real handsome little dude.

I think so, he comes from a long line of outstanding bear dogs.

It's looking more and more like there will be lots of chasing, but not until Jun and July, still lots of snow to the point you can't get around very well. I am going for a couple of days next week with a couple of guys near Bovil.

I used to run Blueticks, still like blueticks, but this particular line of curs does everything my blueticks used to do, but handle and behave sooo much better. Quieter at home, handle better at the tree. Smarter. Someday if I move into the right area (away from other folks) I'll probably have a hound or two.....then again maybe not. :)
