i was wondering if anyone has herd of any farms or the like that i can go and varmint hunt on weekends. im getting tired of paper punching at the range and want some more reactive targets.
thanks for any info.

What type of Western WA varmint are you thinking of...? :dunno:
-
anything at all. from p-dogs to yotes. im just happy to get out of the house for a change and get to hunt something. but i don't know where any good places are.

Where are you? and how far you willing to drive?

right by sea-tec airport, and willing to drive a few hours for some good grounds/people.

oh also if anyone knows of some good open areas i can go within 1hour drive from seatac airport that i can go shoot my .22LR rifle? i just like to try to get out everyweekend and shoot it, but with $10 each weekend plus targets its getting too expencive to do every weekend.
Thanks

You might try heading up towards Enumclaw, I think it is hwy. 402.

It is HWY 410. Quite a few areas once you get out there a ways.

Q-D,
Closer to home, you might look into the public range here in West Seattle (at the West Seattle Stadium)... Monday nights 6pm until 8 or 9, for $4... 22lr's only. ;)
