I am leaving the "Dark side" and gonna try Muzzy for the 1st time. I love this site! This site helped me a lot to finally, "get off the pot" and go for it. A lot of good info. My 15 y/o son , myself, and two other friends from a long..... history of hunting modern in the Manashtash are going to pack into the Bumping area. A fish and game biologist recommended this area. I'm in my forties and well, if I'm ever gonna pack in and pack out, I better do it before I get much older! I am getting ready to buy a Bighorn, so I will soon be asking questions on shooting later!! I will accept all comments and suggestions for my hunt. Thanks

Seems like some pretty in the know smokepole hunters on the site. I got to shoot a bit with Skillet and he knows his stuff. Don't forget to post pics!

Not to muddy the waters... but I did get the official word from the Washington Fish and Wildlife that the Knight DISC Extreme with a Western Kit installed is a legal gun for the State of Washington. I am totally biased but the Extreme to me is a much more versatile gun, of course it costs more also.
These are Knight DISC Extremes… Of course the scopes have to come off and you need to install the Western Breech Plug…

And this is the breech area with the Western breech plug.

With the DISC you can move back to the 209 primer and use it during regular hunting seasons also…
