Just did the finnish work on this guy. The left antlet is bent back and to the side. Some kinda birth defect I guess. I have a picture of just the rack floating around somewhere in another post. The first pic was taken befor I cleaned off the antlers, lol.

Here is a better view of the twist in the rack. Hard to see in the other photos

LOOKIN GOOD. Let me know when you get bored, I've got another one for you to do. :) OK probably not, but it would probably get done faster.
-
He was really young. Maybe 2 1/2 years old. Only 10 1/4" eye to nose and a 22" neck. Nice cape on him.
-
looks good mich!
Its came a long way from when I saw it last!

Here is the pic of the rack.

i dont blame anyone for shooting a branch antlered bull, but my, if he was 2 and a half, which i think is pretty close, he would be a GREAT bull in three or four years.
-
Nice work, Michelle! His face looks really life like.
-
I may be off on the age but I don't think so. I know it was taken with a bow so it might have been the guys first bow kill. The rack has got some character IMO. Othet than the left antler being a bit cockeyed the #4's are turned in as well.
-
I would have taken him........... He's got character.
GREAT work Michelle!
-
Nice Looking mount!
Michele do you send your hides out or do you tan them yourself?
-
Good work Michelle...I am sure I will be a customer of yours one day. ;)
-
I send them out to have them tanned. They are an hour or so away from me so I drive to them for pickup and delivery. Their tan's are top notch! I am very picky when it comes to a tannery.
-
Well Michelle they and you both do a fine job!!
-
Pretty mount! I like the details.
-
Thanks for the compliments guys and gals.

" His face looks really life like."
I know that is a duh moment, they are supposed to look real, but that does look like he is still alive and breathing. Tons of charactor and detail.
