Title: Mason County Elk
Post by: DoubleJ on June 04, 2011, 08:36:44 PM: Does anyone know if the hills north of Kamilche hold elk? 2900 road, 3000 road, 3350 road? Any knowledge? Trying to stay close to home this year. PM me if you have the knowledge I'm looking for.

Nevere see any elk up there but I have seen tracks while riding the trails between Porter creek and Strataline some years ago.

Post by: True Sportsman on June 05, 2011, 07:46:53 PM: Ive been cruising timber about 10 miles West of there out Cloquallum Rd. Plenty of elk sign Ive seen, but I'd never hunt there. No sheds yet and no elk seen, but they were there.
