i was wondering if anyone could give me any incite on how to hunt cats or where to start looking for them? Ive been all over the 2 areas i hunt and have only found 1 track in the mud. i only bow hunt which makes it Little harder, i have hunted them successfully in another state but not with a bow. will they come into a predator call or is it a waist of time?

From what I have heard they will...sometimes come to a call but you will have to pass up a bunch of yotes before you see a kitty...good luck I got lucky and just met a guy that WDFW calls when they have a problem kitty and he hunts them with his hounds...heres to hoping he brings me along!!

Can be called. Can be called to a bow. If you can stand still enough, you can make it happen. Very tough but do-able. Vocals help immeasurably. Totally changes the cat's attitude on approach. Makes it much easier to see them and sometimes hear them coming.

They can be called in with a varmint call. Check out rainshadow1's website...he has some stories posted there. I have harvested one of the 3 that I have called in. The story is posted here....
