Title: Colored up
Post by: klickriverchromer on June 10, 2011, 08:07:14 PM: Gave my set some color.. Set from early this season that sat in the woods for 1 season.. Thought I'd share some pics of the horns after I added color to them.

I've tried shoe polish/wood stain/pitch and dirt/and have found my oil based paints and additives work better than most other things and is a lot cheaper than products advertised other places..

Post by: bucklucky on June 11, 2011, 09:09:53 PM: Hey Klick, those do look pretty good man. Your right , clicking on the pics helped alot. Are you using fine steel wool and going over it to show the highlights? Nice work!! I have found Oils to work best for me.
