Title: new muzzle loader
Post by: BrandonWatts on June 12, 2011, 06:17:09 PM: well bought my first muzzle loader yesterday. pretty nice gun havnt shot it yet they didnt have any powder i will have to get some from wholesale sports this week. its a traditions northwest magnum.

also can i change the nipple out from number 11 caps to musket caps?

It may be the 209 nipple. A lot of new muzzle loaders come set up for the 209's now. Easy to switch them out and only about 5 bucks for a different one. If you're not sure which one it is take it off and take it with you when you go buy caps. But if you already have #11 caps your better off to buy a new nipple if they won't fit it. At least that way you dont have to waste the caps that you already have. :twocents:
