There is a good amount of public land but it is steep! and not alot of access points. The tribe took a bunch of big bulls out of this winter so the quality is going to be down a little.

Hold on. Are you for real? How did you draw a Peaches Ridge muzzleloader bull permit AND a Grande Ronde muzzleloader bull permit?

Post by: bobcat on June 14, 2011, 11:27:03 PM: If it were me, I'd concentrate on the Peaches Ridge hunt. I suppose you can use the Grande Ronde permit to fall back on if you don't kill a bull in Peaches Ridge, since the season does go four days after Peaches Ridge ends.

Hell they could charge another app fee and make money. Just sucks to see some tags will go to waste. Good luck on your hunt.

No chance of that, but they will let you give your permit back without getting points back. I drew a bull and cow permit last year in different units and they said tough sh*t. I would hunt Peaches Ridge and fall back on Grande Ronde if you dont tag out at Peaches Ridge.
