I guess Gordon Steinmeitz sold the store. Hell of a nice guy. The last I saw him he was not doing so well, does anyone know how he is doing? They should be pretty active right now with the post spawn. I used to tournament fish and we used to fish the dog snot out of banks. It has been a while since I have been there. I Know a guy who was there 2 weeks ago and still saw some fish on beds. He said the threw rattle traps and did pretty well. Also drop shot senkos. If all else fails use yamamoto 176 or 221 single tail 4'' and hook it tail down this time of year. Are you going fishing soon? If you do let us know I would like to head over for walleye soon!

Dad and grandpa caught 3 largemouth between 5-6 pounds last weeked. Weather got bad and they only got to fish for abour an hour. I hear they are catching quite a few smallies right now.

Gordon is doing good, fished a tournament this weekend and saw/talked to him. He was fishing it as well on Moses Lake.

I haven't done much smallmouth fishing there yet, but we have had some luck with the walleye lately. We have had better luck catching larger fish up there than at Moseslake. When the weather warms up......if the weather ever warms up I will probably start targeting some smallies.
