Title: Went for a hike tonight and ran into bears
Post by: woodman on June 23, 2011, 09:52:26 PM: I went to a place that I like to hike and ran into 3 bears and got pics of two of them. I did notice that the salmon berries are coming in now and these bears were at them.

We were staying up at a cabin outside of town yesterday and my wife hopped in the truck to run up the road to use her cell phone and she saw a young colorphase bear in the road. It ran up a tree and she couldn't get a pic (she wouldn't get out of the truck, and the bear was on the backside of the tree :chuckle: ). She has seen bears with me before, but never that close, and never when she was by herself.
