Ok guys, just got home from picking this guy up from the taxidermist. These were a set of sheds that I picked up back in 2007. Not bad for Lincoln County. I have seen 3-4 others in the same area the last couple of years that will go just as big and bigger.
Let me know what you guys think it scores then I will tell ya what I came up with!
The mount was done by Daydreamn.

153 5/8 - That's a quite a buck!!! Beautiful mount.
-
Thats a rack!
-
161 1/8
-
150 class
-
158
-
163" or so...neat buck.
I think he's bigger than 150 because he's got the front forks going for him.
:dunno:
I suck at this game anyway so I'm probably wrong.
-
I would guess 150ish I don't think e has the forks to go more.
-
Gotta be in the mid 160s at least with nice main beams and g2s like that!!!!.......backs aren't horrible either.
-
Can I guess? No one is even close yet.

Can I guess? No one is even close yet.
:chuckle: There getting closer, looks like im gonna need ya to back me up on this one!
-
172"
-
168" Good buck
-
Yeah that's gotta be at least 170. I've got a buck that scores 163, and yours is bigger.
-
I think he is bigger than you guys think. He's got good beams, great 4's, good eyeguards, and pretty good 2's. I'm going to ball park it at 175 6/8" :chuckle:
That is a great looking buck no matter what he scores. I'd shoot that buck anyday.
-
my guess is 170, he looks great also
-
His gross score is 186 6/8 with just over 5 inches of deduction he nets 181 4/8.
Here is a photo of the score sheet.

I see a solid 170 with those fronts, but would never guess 180.
-
I'm not surprised. That buck has just about everything. They don't get much better than that! I'm not much of an expert on scoring deer, but I'd guess what helps that buck is the symmetry and the long tine lengths.
-
I think you could have gotten another inch or two out of the spread credit too! :twocents:

For Lincoln County, Yes that's a dandy set. Not trying to step on your honey hole, I hunt Lincoln County also. We are on private land northeast of town. Where, roughly are you talking about. Years ago I pulled a really nice 3 point of the Swanson Lake DNR land. This buck came from the private land we are on. Around the Mill canyon area. You have another 30 inches on my boy. Very nice mount.

Found his sheds N/E of Davenport! That is a very respectable buck as well GrainfedMuley!
-
There is some good quality running around above Davenport. If you get on property in any direction, you will find dandys! Nice bucks you guys!
