Title: Still a lot of snow up there
Post by: Dmanmastertracker on July 11, 2011, 10:49:26 AM: After a trip to Alpine Lakes this weekend, I fiddled around with some black and white shots. Still a lot of snow below 6,000 feet.

Thats kinda what I was thinking but more in the terms of no excuse for fire danger closures this year too !! ;)

Post by: JBR on July 11, 2011, 02:04:53 PM: Damn....I've been thinking about attempting scouting trip #2 to Little Naches this weekend and was kinda wondering about snow levels there. First trip was June 24/25 and I was hoping that the past 3 wks might have made a dent in the snow level, but maybe not?? Anyone know?

This will be are first time in the alpine lakes.
