Looks like an injured antler!

More than likely he smacked into a tree wile that tissue was soft and caused the bend in the antler. if he makes it through the season and sheds the antler next years horns will not look like that it will be straightend out. Ive seen this before sure makes for an interesting story though. cool picture

Yup. It does look bent....I was seeing part of the ear that looked like an additional base.
