Title: Fifth Wheel camper heater question.
Post by: C-Money on July 17, 2011, 06:23:30 PM: I am new to the world of camping with a fifth wheel. I am wondering about my propane heater. It blows hot air like a champ when i have electric hooked up for the fan motor to run. My question is, when I am in the woods without an electric hook up, can I still run the heater with out a blower fan? Do I need a generator to run to the heater fan? Anyway, thanks for the tips. The blower should be an AC/DC motor. :)

Un plug your 110 power it and fire it up and see what happens.

Post by: JKEEN33 on July 17, 2011, 06:35:37 PM: Fan should run of the battery. It will run the battery down fast if you run the heater though. I have a small generator that I have to run everyday when out in cold weather to keep the batteries charged up.
