Title: Lake Concunully
Post by: rgalanti21 on July 20, 2011, 09:51:49 PM: Has anyone fished lake Concunully recently? I just booked a five day tent spot for a camping trip the first week of September and was wondering how the fishing was up there. The locals I have talked to said it has been "slow" but I was looking for some additional input since I am unable to check it out over there because I live in the Seattle area. Thanks!

As for the Upper and Lower Lake or Conconully Lake and Conconully Reservoir in September, the fishing should be fine. I personally don't see a reason you can't easily catch a limit every day during the season there. Good Luck.

Is that true for bank fishers too?

Post by: MtnMuley on July 21, 2011, 02:48:27 PM: It might be a little slower, but during September, we've caught many of carry-over limits from the bank. Definately better boat fishing as the season goes on.

I can tell you that the lower lake is high and has been pretty tough fishing lately. the upper lake is doing pretty good. My wife and I went there last week for a hour and caught 6 trout with the biggest being 11 inches. :twocents:

Sorry it was the upper lake I was talking about. I fished the lower on sunday without a bite. But things should be better later on when you are coming over. Good luck.
