Post by: DUCKDUDE on July 22, 2011, 07:22:38 AM: I got drawn for a muzzy cow tag and just received notification from wherehouser that I get to receive vehicle access on all there land behind there gates Monday Thur Friday. That will make nice to get in deep.

It looks like it runs back and forth between the Winston and Margaret. Is that accurate??
I have only spent a couple days hunting the Winston but it's been from the Winston Creek side.

Post by: funkster on July 23, 2011, 04:44:58 PM: This isn't good info to me. I have the same tag and I can tell you that hunting with the gates closed is much better. As far as retrieval, they always let you in if you have an animal down. I wouldn't mind if they opened them up just for the weekend like they do during modern to give the older/disabled guys a shot but you will see more guys trolling than at the opener of trout at mineral lake.

The 2500 rd off 504 is closed to everyone always. The hotline will tell you all the info you need.

I dont think any of the 2500 is in the Winston.

Thats the 1900 then drops down to the 500 line
