That is really awesome. I cant wait to get up there and shoot an elk...
-
Gotta love the group of bulls

Thats a toad of a deer..u got lucky! I know people counting myself running cams for 2 months with close to 40 cams that have yet to find a buck this year that big ;) 5 bulls together thats awesome
-
yea... it took like over 600+ before it got knock down by those elk... was my fault for being lazy and not strap it strong enough. :bash: had like 100+ on that buck.. a small bull moose and a semi nice bear. overall i'm glad that there are still that many elk in the NE.. :)

That's seems like a pretty good place to be opening day, how many years it take you to find that spot?

well it was just last year that i had my trail cam up there and lucky enough i had elk on my very first cam pic last year... but having them on trail cam doesn't mean you will see them in person during the hunt.. :bash:

I know, one of the many frustrations with hunting up north, its cool to see them on film and know they exist, but I wanna find the cave they all hide in when the season starts.

I know, I hunted hard last year (2 weeks to be exact) and did not when see one of the bulls I had last year.seeing with that many bull u should easily find them but nope not even one cow was seen. So either they our out of the county or they have a hiding place like you mention. So for this years scouting Im hoping to find that hiding spot.

Great pictures of some great animals. Good luck on the hiding spot!
