Post by: BOWHUNTER45 on August 01, 2011, 09:26:26 AM: only report I have at this time is a couple buddies were up hunting and all they seen was my two favorite wardens who checked there licenses and there guns to make sure they were empty in the vehicle but when they checked one of them they opened the bolt and :chuckle: :chuckle: an empty flew out :chuckle: they shot there guns yesterday and I guess he never took out the empty :dunno: but the warden never found it funny :o

Count 12 trucks parked there first morning. :yike: never seen this in my 20 years on wet side. That's cool. We are here to save people life. Shoot bear.

buy one, I will be out bear hunting a bunch, more then welcome to come with. I have never shot a bear so its not like I have good bear spot.

Post by: Seatown5 on August 01, 2011, 05:56:54 PM: your not kidding about being jinxed. Went to my spot this morning, everything seemed fine. Not much had changed since april. Then 5:30 came, It sounded like i was hunting on I-5. apparently they are logging there now and i am here to tell you it was crazy. All sorts of logging trucks, skyline cranes that were running up and down the mountain, chain saws. Didnt seem to matter where i went on the mountain, you could hear it from five miles away. Just horrible. Oh well, better than working.

I know this is coming in a little early as we have yet to hear from bearmanic and a few others, but over all sounds like a slow start.. not saying first day over here I'm going to get one but i figured the odds were in favor of someone dropping one.. :dunno:
