45 minutes later I'm on the ridge above ya and watch ya squeeze one off...black bear down...still ticked? :dunno:
Congrats to the young guy in Skagit Co. that dropped his bear this evening around 7:30...hope it fit in the trunk of your saturn! :chuckle:
To the rest of ya, don't get discouraged when someone stumbles in and disrupts your hunt...hope isn't always lost!
Not a bad first day for me. Saw two. Watched someone take one.
Just about dark I had three or four around me grunting, but it was too dense to see anything. Another day!

If you need someone to watch your back in that westside brush, give me a holler. I'd rather bear hunt than salmon fish.... :chuckle:
