Im pretty sure I know exactly where that is. We have some friends who live up the hill to the left of where he is standing... I might have to change my hunting plans for this year.. :chuckle: :chuckle:
-
Hopefully it isn't found dead in the church parking lot like the other one was a few years back...... There are a few bruisers running around town this year......

I agree, crop the picture. I grew up in Leavenworth, pretty sure I used to live right down the road from that spot. OMg, think we are gonna see some more brusiers this season.

Growing up my yellow lab used to role in horse crap in that very field......I bet if a guy just asked anyone along the road there, they would be happy to let everyone hunt that buck! LOL Especially Bradshaw!!!! ***LMAO***

Worst ticks over there this year. Beware.
Mulehunter.

He is actually lacking a bit on the mass...I think I would pass on him... :chuckle:
-
Great buck - thanks for sharing.
-
Thats how they raise those govenor tag bucks in Mission. :)
-
You guys crack me up, who in there right mind thinks there gonna actually be able to hunt that buck, when most of his life he is in town, come on lay off on the whole picture taking thing. I think its great as it goes to show that there are still some good genetics in WA you just have to get after it and not be LAZZZZZZZZZZZZZZYYYYYYYY...........
-
I don't know Bear, I almost harvest him with my truck about a week ago. :chuckle:
-
He was out again on Sat. morning. I think he just grazes in the area. Saw a few more dandy's as well. Some great looking town bucks.
-
most places are open to archery hunting..if someone had permission I bet it gets whacked
-
Read my first post on page one.....the guy that has permission to hunt right there doesn't have a real good track record!!!

I think if I can get my truck close enough to him I might get a shot! Just as long as I dont have to get out and hike for him.....you know cause Im LAZZZZZZZZYYYYYY. :chuckle: Oh, and I'll make sure not to take any pictures, I know how annoying the "picture taking thing" can be. :hello:
-

It will give me a chance to try out my new Urban Camo line of clothing. I'm thinking picket fence shirt with flower pants should do the trick.
Here is a picture of me demonstrating how well it blends...
-
Hey Boonerboy whats your deal??? I was defending you, as it gets annoying with all the complaining from people about posting pictures of deer like that, as if its a big secret spot or something and everyone is gonna go hunt there now. The comment was not in reference to you or your pictures it was to all the whiners complaining about the picture.... Post up some more he is a beautiful buck!!

oh, gotcha. :chuckle: Guess I misunderstood the post, I never claimed to be smart. :chuckle: sorry.....

Getting access would be a pain. I do have access to a few areas over there but they do not normally hold deer as you only get the one's that pass through now and then. I am not that excitable about posting the pictures on the site as most everyone knows about the area.
-
Great buck, but I'd rather shoot a dink on the mountain than that toad in town! Someone's probably going to give us hunters a bad name in a couple of weeks. :twocents:
-
Good point about the dink on the mountain and the deer not making it. I have a buddy I visited that said he had two real nice muleys on his property. However, he said they probably won't make it simply because the hwy runs past that edge. Posted and everything but doesn't matter to some. I think it is cool to have a nice buck in the neighborhood, kind of like a mascot.
-
yeah definately would be cool to see something like that every day. he'll probably make it through, after all how did he get to be that big?? a mini van is probably his biggest concern
