Title: device not recognized
Post by: WA hunter14 on August 12, 2011, 05:00:48 PM: i have my tasco trail camera connected to my computer with a usb cable and my computer say device not recognized? what do i do? how can i look at the pictures?

Post by: jackelope on August 12, 2011, 05:20:42 PM: There's probably some software that came with the camera to get it to interface with the computer.

As far as how to look at your pics...is there an SD card in the camera you can remove? Do you have a card reader? You'll need that or the software to download onto your PC so the 2 will interface together.

Post by: mallard79 on August 13, 2011, 09:55:32 PM: If it does have the sd card and you do not have a card reader on your computer you cane use your digital camera if you have one that uses sd cards. pics are small but at oeast you should he able to see them. if that works you might try interfacing the camera???? Good luck.....we wanna see pics!

Post by: huntnnw on August 13, 2011, 09:59:15 PM: mine did that..then it said the computer needed to be restatrted and then it worked. Most flatscreens these days have usb or sd readers on them..your computer doesnt have a SD slot?
