Hung it up on June 9th....batteries went dead on July 10th after taking 1,520 pics. I went to check it yesterday. 62 days total hanging but it only worked for 31 of them! Absolutely amazed at everything i saw on there! Only 400-500 yards from where i hung it last year! Was pretty happy with the results! Cant wait for Oct to get here!

its nice to see atleast one other person found a nice herd of cattle.......... 1 of my baits was absolutley destroyed for about 2 weeks by cattle.

Thanks....probably my best soak to date! 1520 pics and almost everyone of them was a good clear picture! Mabey 50-60 of the cows but the rest were all great pics! Spend the time and set your camera up right! take into consideration where the sun comes up and and goes down, heighth of the camera on the tree and location of the salt block from the camera! Its worth it in the long run for good pictures! Cant wait to go check it again!

:yeah: We just checked one last night and in 6 days it had 1100 pictures. 200 of them had elk or deer in them, the other 900 were pictures of the sun :bash:

location location location!
I had 1520 pics and 1515 were some kind of animal, critter, bear, monster, something!
Bring a good pair of clippers and cut down all the limps and twigs, ect around your camera! Remember the wind blows sometimes! lol

I don't recognized the lettering to tell what kind of a trail cam you have but its unfortunate that the batteries went so fast.

I'm pretty sure that's a Tasco cam.
My Primos 35 is the one that took 1100 pics and it still showed 99% on the batteries.

The buck in the first pic is REALY wide :mgun:

Its a moultrie 5.0! 31 days and 1500+ pics i thought the battery life was descent! last summer i let it set for 30 days a few times and was only getting 700-900 pics and the battery life still said 50%. Not the best but i would say not to bad either! It works and takes good quality pics that most important for me!
