Do you know about what time of year they change plummage?  I guess I was wondering if you can nail one in summer colors during any legal hunting season.  I have yet to get one.

here is one in the first week on June

I believe they start changing January/February and are prolly completed by spring time..

The best bet to get a summer phase, is to purchase a captive one... They make some cool sounds during breeding season, kinda reminded me a bullfrog on steroids..
